Une d\u00e9l\u00e9gation burundaise a pris part \u00e0 la 49<sup>\u00e8me<\/sup> R\u00e9union du Groupe de Travail des Hauts Fonctionnaires de l\u2019Eastern and Southern Africa Anti Money Laundering Group (ESAAMLG), tenue \u00e0 Kampala en Ouganda. Elle \u00e9tait compos\u00e9e\u00a0 d\u2019une \u00e9quipe de la Cellule Nationale du Renseignement Financier (CNRF), dirig\u00e9e par son Secr\u00e9taire Permanent, de repr\u00e9sentants du secteur public ainsi que du secteur priv\u00e9. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cette r\u00e9union strat\u00e9gique a r\u00e9uni les d\u00e9l\u00e9gations des pays membres de l\u2019ESAAMLG, et des institutions internationales coop\u00e9ratives d\u2019ESAALMG, notamment l\u2019UNODC, le FMI, les Etats Unis d\u2019Am\u00e9rique, UK \u2013 HM Treasury, la BAD, la SADC, EU AML\/CFT Global Facility, Eurasian Group (EAG), RUSI, GIZ, COMESA et le GAFI pour \u00e9changer sur les progr\u00e8s, d\u00e9fis et bonnes pratiques dans la lutte contre le blanchiment de capitaux et le financement du terrorisme (LBC\/FT).<\/p>\n<p>La participation du Burundi \u00e0 cette importante rencontre a permis de :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Suivre les travaux des diff\u00e9rents groupes techniques, notamment sur les rapports des pays membres, la conformit\u00e9 technique et l&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 des r\u00e9gimes LBC\/FT ;<\/li>\n<li>Partager l\u2019exp\u00e9rience du Burundi dans la mise en \u0153uvre des recommandations du GAFI ;<\/li>\n<li>Identifier les priorit\u00e9s r\u00e9gionales communes et les axes d\u2019am\u00e9lioration pour les syst\u00e8mes nationaux de LBC\/FT.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A l\u2019issue de cette r\u00e9union, des le\u00e7ons importantes, notamment en lien avec la pr\u00e9paration de la premi\u00e8re Evaluation Mutuelle du Burundi pr\u00e9vue \u00e0 partir du mois de juin 2025 ont \u00e9t\u00e9 tir\u00e9es. Il est ressorti que la poursuite de la mise en \u0153uvre des recommandations de la Mission de Haut Niveau constitue une \u00e9tape essentielle pour r\u00e9ussir cette \u00e9valuation.<\/p>\n<p>En marge de cette r\u00e9union, un M\u00e9morandum d\u2019Entente (MdE) a \u00e9t\u00e9 sign\u00e9 entre la CNRF et son homologue du Royaume d\u2019Eswatini. Cet accord marque une \u00e9tape cruciale dans le renforcement de la coop\u00e9ration r\u00e9gionale en mati\u00e8re de partage de renseignements financiers, contribuant ainsi \u00e0 l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 des investigations transfrontali\u00e8res et \u00e0 la consolidation du r\u00e9seau r\u00e9gional de LBC\/FT.<\/p>\n<p>Dans le combat de LBC\/FT, la CNRF reste engag\u00e9e \u00e0 intensifier ses efforts pour am\u00e9liorer la conformit\u00e9 du Burundi aux normes internationales du GAFI, en s\u2019appuyant sur les enseignements tir\u00e9s lors de cette r\u00e9union et les partenariats strat\u00e9giques nou\u00e9s au niveau r\u00e9gional.<\/p>\n<p><div id='gallery-1' class='gallery galleryid-1042 gallery-columns-3 gallery-size-thumbnail'><figure
